Welcome to the Burke County Beekeepers Association (BCBA) website. We hope you find it both informative and interesting.
Any interested person may join the Burke County Beekeepers, annual dues are $5.00. Membership opens the door for educational opportunities and email updates on beekeeping.
The NC Cooperative Extension, Burke County Center in conjunction with the Burke County Beekeepers will host our monthly meetings via a Webinar until such time as public gatherings are again allowed (due to COVID-19). There is no charge for the presentations, but beekeepers must register prior to these events. Announcements of each monthly presentation will be emailed to BCBA members. Persons may also learn of beekeepers' monthly presentations by visiting this site or by visiting the below mentioned Burke County Center web page. Beekeepers may register for these presentations on the NC Cooperative Extension Burke County Center Web page (http://burke.ces.ncsu.edu).
The Burke County Beekeepers will meet on Monday, April 12, 6:30pm at the Burke County Agriculture Building. Registration must be done via Eventbrite. Donna Teasley and Robert Smith will have the program.
The Burke County Beekeepers Association normally meets monthly on the second Monday of each month, 6:30pm, at the Agricultural Extension Office, 130 Ammons Drive, Morganton. An educational program is always presented and the public is invited.
